There are plenty of other websites and apps that can be used for QR codes. Just go to a search engine or the App Store on your iPad and search for "QR generator" or "QR Reader".

QR Voice
With QR Voice you can give your students individualized verbal directions through QR codes. When students scan the QR code, they will hear the message you created for them. It is a great tool for younger students, as well as older students that need differentiation. Try it out with this code. Just scan it and see what happens.

- Students can use QR codes in centers. Smedley's Smorgasboard of Kindergarten shares some neat ideas for centers.
- The picture below shows an example from www.primaryjunction.net of how to give a individualized spelling test. (Make up tests for students that were absent sure would be a lot easier that way!)
- Add QR codes to the top of your assignments. Students can scan them for verbal directions.
- You could also add QR codes to books in your classroom library to help students with difficult words/pronunciations.
- QR codes provide quick and easy access to any website.
- QR codes are also an easy way for students to check their own work.
